I have her on my friends list so I can try to get to kamadan or wherever she is to listen to the chat, I did notice this name of hers though a few minutes ago when I logged on.

I just got banned for 71 hours for jumping on the Gaile, you like pie? bandwagon at Shing Jea int dis 1. I have no idea what i'm going to do for 71 hours ~_~. I guess theres always Guitar Hero. I only said it 3 times

Gaile is nothing more than a person that provides chat in a different color text. There are no real answers to questions that you ask her about the game. You basically get the same response to everything "I will look into it" or "I will send an email"
Any kind of information about the game she gives is vague to the point of it just fueling rumors.

Gaile stays on "Do Not Disturb" to avoid whisper spam from all you Gaile-stalkers, so you no pming for "a nice chat".

I have her on my list in hopes of meeting her someday. I've met The Frog (and even had him answer one of my questions), but never Gaile (whenever she's on it's too late, district full).

She is useful, though I worship the Frog way more than her.

Well, She probably has
Protector title for all 3 campaigns,
100% Cartographer in all 3.
Max on Ale, Sugar, Treasure, and Wisdom.
Which gives her the "people know me" title.

I think it is time for her to try something different.

Yes, Gaile isn't a game designer or developer, she is in Community Relations. That means talking to people and serving as a conduit between the Development Team and the player base. Largely a thankless job at times, I'd guess.

It's not in her job description to publicly lay out Anet's 20 year business plan or answer every post on the forums. She is an ambassador for ANet within the Guild Wars community and a lot of what she facilitates, you don't see.

You think the ANet dev-team works in a vacuum completely disconnected from their customer-players? Think again. Even good things may need some moderation, I have been part of many online games that rushed with out thought or planning to react to player demands, the outcomes were not good for the life of the game.
